The Line Of Best Fit

Swimming Girls – one of the UK’s most promising new bands – have shared another dazzling new single today. ‘Beneath You’ out now on Yucatan Records, the same day that the band will support Pale Waves at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.

Swimming Girls are a dark-horse to watch in the current UK pop scene, having released a string of banging indie-pop records over the last year winning over more and more fans with each release. Consistently infectious and drenched with limitless attitude, the Bristol-based 4 piece have become an unrelenting one to watch, born out of a serendipitous university music project which bought the group together. They’ve never sounded more powerful than on new single ‘Beneath You’, a seriously catchy indie-banger that explores “the relationship anxiety that comes with not knowing where you stand with someone.” (Vanessa)

Swimming Girls are currently supporting Pale Waves on their massive UK tour, which tonight reaches London’s Shepherd Bush Empire. When it’s finished, they’ve got their own headline run which includes a stop at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on the 15th October.
